Hervey Bay is a beautiful city in Queensland in Australia. It is located on a gorgeous coastline of a natural bay between the main land and the island of Fraser, therefore affording the city a great geographical location and breathtaking landscape. At the same time, situated about two hundred miles from in Brisbane which is only a three and a half hour drive, it is a great city to visit and live in.

Hervey Bay is famous for tourism and can boast two major tourist attractions here. It is famous for being the best place in Australia for whale watching and the place of entry to the largest sand island in the world – the Fraser Island. Its beaches are the stuff of commercial advertisements portraying paradise right here on Earth. The climate is of a mild sub-tropical type and the temperatures are comfortably warm all year round. The east winds blowing in the summer keep the area fresher and cooler than the rest of Australia. The city offers great transportation in the form of trains, buses and an airport boasting direct flights to Sydney and Brisbane. There are a number of primary schools and two higher educational establishments in Hervey Bay. It’s a great place to stay and live in.
